Later in the term, children will have the opportunity to go on a school trip to the World Museum to learn about mummification. Children will also develop their geographical vocabulary by developing their knowledge of rivers and the importance they played in developing early civilisations. In science, children will first learn the parts of a flowering plants and then learn about what plants need to grow. This will be linked to our work on the Ancient Egyptians, their reliance on farming and the importance of the River Nile.
