During Autumn 1 Sparrows were using bee-bots to learn how to code. The children used animals first and had the give each other instructions to move the animals. They had to give detailed instructions using 'right, left, forwards, backwards and turn' to help their group to move their animal. The children then used bee-bots to try and help to rescue the treasure before the pirates got there. The children learnt how to give the bee-bot instructions and press go. They then learnt how to 'debug' their instructions if there were any mistakes. Finally, when they had created a code which worked the children recorded this.
